Just a quick update on Emily...we were able to get in to the see surgeon yesterday, thank goodness for a fast appointment.  And of the surgeons we have seen over time, this one was pretty helpful.  Quite honestly I was kinda upset that God wasn't healing Emily's belly, but He did answer prayers for a good appointment.  So, first the surgeon loosened the tube some, because she felt that it was cutting off bloodflow to the area.  The issue with that it is now leaking.  But the area is already looking better today.  Next week we are going to switch to yet another kind of tube that is more like the button she used to have.  The good news is they make the same size as the g-tube that she used for the last 9 years, so hopefully the leaking will stay under control.  We will give the new tube a few weeks to see if the hole heals.  If it continues to be an issue then we will do a revision where they close the old hole and make just one new hole.  It's a good balance of trying the save the old hole and looking at the possibility of her body growth making it time for a new one.  We will keep working to do what is best for Emily and get that nutrition into her, and ultimately trust God's plan.  Have a good long weekend!
