Well, it certainly has been a while since I have updated here. Our computer/modem has had serious issues, often only letting us on the internet for a few moments before IP diagnostics comes up. I am so not a computer person! But, things have been busy here, a good busy. School has been in session for just over a month already and everyone is enjoying it. Emily loves kindergarten and has already made some great girl friends. She spends one to two afternoons a week on a playdate. We have been so happy with how the school handled everything with her and we have had no negative experiences/comments at all!! Luke likes his teacher and has a great group of boys to hang out with. He is working hard at memorizing multiplication and division facts. Heidi also likes her teacher. Today began clarinet practice for Heidi. And Anna will begin cello lessons on Thursday. Both girls are enjoying their friends and are dealing well with the homework. They are working on adding/subtracting mixed fractions and it is a struggle :) . I only took care of my nephew for the month as he is now at home with his baby sister and mom!! So I have a little free time built into my morning, which so far I have just used for eating breakfast and showering in peace and quiet. Bible study is on it's 3rd week already, and I have another great group of women. We are studying Idol Lies by Dee Brestin. Justin's job has been steady, though the rumors keep changing about the work coming up. He may be off around the first of October, but then back to work after a few months, so we will see how that goes.
It really has been very routine here, Luke had an ear infection (maybe his first ever?) and I had a cold, but otherwise we have stayed healthy. Our weekends have been quiet, playing outside. Awanas started two weeks ago, Emily especially enjoys Sparks and Justin and I enjoy a brief date night. Really nothing too exciting at our house, so happy routine!!
