Justin and I celebrate 13 years of marriage on Monday

women, women, women, women...

what, how did this happen already!

notice Caleb's shirt (well and Luke's, that is about all he wears these days)

it is so hard to capture smiles without a blurry photo, Caleb started real smiles at 3 weeks
This is super quick, I never really know how long I have to accomplish things before a certain little boy needs me.  The kids have 13 days of school left, Justin has been back to work for 2 weeks and yes Caleb is 6 weeks on Monday.  We are off to Melissa's wedding this weekend, so stayed tuned for more fun pictures!

We can officially change the name of the blog

and beautiful blue eyes

We welcomed Caleb Robert into our family on April 14th.  Honestly, I wasn't sure I would make it to that Monday morning, as I was feeling miserable and having on and off contractions Saturday and Sunday, but God had this planned just right.  Caleb weighed in at 8 lbs. 15 oz and 20 1/2" (I know this is repeat info for most people, but still wanted to share).  So we can change the title on the blog to Denali's seven!  Everything went well and we are healing fairly quickly.  Justin is still home after his hernia surgery, so he has been very helpful in carting kids around for me.  Caleb eats all the time and is getting a little better about sleeping; the last few nights have worked out so that we stay up late and then he only wakes up once during the night and then again when I am getting the kids ready for school.  We have had plenty of help with meals, and some diaper/grocery deliveries that we are so thankful for.
At Caleb's 2 week check up on Tuesday he weighed in at 9 lbs. 11 oz., which is a great amount of growth (breastfed babies should just be getting back to their birth weight at 10-14 post birth).  He is a bit of a momma's boy, but he is eating often, so that does limit his interaction with others a little.  All the kids are always eager to hold him, though no one is offering to change diapers just yet.  Caleb is very alert and curious when he is awake.  Well, this is our excitement for a while, we praise God for His great gifts!
