Thank you all for your prayers and texts and calls to see how the first days went. We made it, everyone was even on time, hooray! Heidi and Anna have had help with their lockers, mostly because they are more concerned about making it to class on time. They are quickly figuring out what to take to which classes to avoid the locker trip between each class. So far they are hanging out with friends from elementary school. I went in to help with Emily's g-tube feedings both days, and everything went just fine, so I trust it will all become old routine very quickly (she walked into the nurse's office like she already owns the place). Emily loves first grade; she wanted to be at school all weekend too. Luke is doing just fine, not super excited about it, but there were no stomach issues so that is great. This is a full week with two curriculum nights, then a three-day weekend for all! Oh, and the surgeon couldn't feel what Justin's regular doctor could (which happened last time too), so he will go in for a scan and return to the surgeon in a few weeks. Off we go again!
