Heidi and Anna had a great 13th birthday, thank you for the calls and singing! This week is Neighborhood Bible Club, which Emily and Luke get to attend while Heidi and Anna help as leaders. After a picnic at a nearby park we headed to the local jewelers to get Heidi and Anna their second ear piercing. And then off to the art store to buy supplies, followed by Walgreens to stock up on make-up basics. The rain kept us indoors for dinner, but stopped long enough so the girls could visit with a few friends that stopped by. Dessert was made by the girls, they both enjoy baking, especially after watching endless episodes of "Cupcake Wars" on Netflix. As always it went super fast.
It's been 6 weeks since we put in an offer, and it seems to be a dead-end. It's a little frustrating, but when I registered the kids for school, Luke was registered at the middle school where we want him to be, with the girls, so if we have to stay for longer than summer we should be ok. The kids will head to the farm next week and then we will be planning our annual July 3rd/4th birthday party. And just a month until the beach! It's a hot one outside but a certain almost 9 year old really wants to play in the sprinkler, so off we go to get wet.
