Weekend sillies

Justin enjoys the new sprinkler

they were jumping over it, though the picture looks a little different, lol

Luke just wants to rough house all the time

it was a hot weekend

Luke has been asking for weeks to go to the rollerblade park

playing goalie (actually, I think he was pooping)
It was a hot one here so the kids and Justin cooled off in the new sprinkler (thanks Aunt Jan!)  We looked at a house on Friday and otherwise just stayed in the air conditioning.  I keep sorting, purging and re-organizing, especially in the basement.  The kids are generally happy to just play.  The week ahead is finally pretty quiet, we have had two weeks of doctor's appointments.  We checked in with the liver doc, genetics and kidney doc.  And Caleb had a 15 month check-up.  Caleb looks good, growing like crazy still and busy as can be.  Emily all checked out fine too, basically stable.  Her liver is still large, but the doc was happy with her liver enzymes (they are elevated, but not too high).  Both he and the kidney doc want to see her gain weight, but also understand that when she gains weight it goes to her liver as fat.  Her kidneys are looking healthy, they continue to over-filter, but the doc said it's a side affect of the leptin (now called Myalept).  She is not drinking nearly enough water, so we are pushing that.  She does have too much protein in her urine, so we are continuing tests with that.  Emily still has 3 more appointments coming up in August, then we should be done for a year (I am not sure about NIH visits yet).

So we are up against a wall, due to a change in one of the programs we were hoping to take advantage of in buying a house, we are having to make a decision in the next 10 days on housing.  We either need to find a house and have a contract by the 1st of August or wait until spring to move.  It is one of those times that the decision may be made for us, there may just be no other options for the time being.  And school starts one month from yesterday, summer is going fast!
